Dr. Jason Edwards is a cybersecurity leader, educator, and author with more than twenty years of experience safeguarding critical systems and advising global enterprise environments. A U.S. Army combat veteran and Bronze Star recipient, he has led major initiatives in cybersecurity strategy, risk management, regulatory compliance, and security transformation for Fortune 100 organizations.
Dr. Edwards holds a doctorate in Information Systems and Cybersecurity and teaches cybersecurity, risk, technology, and leadership topics across several universities and professional education programs. He has educated more than 2,600 students and is widely published on practical cybersecurity, digital safety, and security leadership. His work focuses on translating complex security issues into clear, actionable guidance for executives, practitioners, students, and families.
He is the author of Killing the Security Bureaucracy: How Cyber Leaders Cut Waste, Restore Focus, and Reduce Risk, a practical leadership book for CISOs, security directors, managers, and senior practitioners who want stronger programs without unnecessary drag.
