Karlyn Gibson is Director of Information Technology at Summer Fridays, where she was hired as the company’s first dedicated IT leader to build and scale the enterprise IT function during a period of rapid growth. She leads technology strategy across cybersecurity, infrastructure, enterprise systems, and IT operations, with a focus on enabling business transformation through secure, resilient, and scalable technology.
Her work centers on creating the structure, systems, and governance needed to help a growing organization operate more effectively. At Summer Fridays, she has led efforts to strengthen security, modernize core business systems and integrations, consolidate information into a more secure and unified environment, and help define the company’s emerging AI policy and strategic approach to responsible AI use. Karlyn brings a practical perspective on how technology can enable transformation, reduce risk, and support sustainable growth.
