About me
Rohitha Budamagunta is a digital product and engineering
leader with nearly two decades of experience building and scaling global
eCommerce platforms and high-performing engineering organizations. Most
recently Director of Engineering at Herbalife, she led distributed
Digital Product and Engineering teams of over 300 professionals across
22 global markets, driving the launch and scale of the company's
direct-to-consumer eCommerce and acquisition platforms to $70M+ in
annual revenue.
Her work sits at the intersection of product,
engineering, and security — where the pressure to move fast often
collides with the need to stay secure. Rohitha has led the integration
of secure-by-design and modern engineering practices into delivery
pipelines, embedding security into CI/CD workflows and aligning
engineering execution with regulatory frameworks including PCI DSS,
GDPR, and CCPA. She is known for reframing security from a reactive
control function into a proactive capability that enables faster, safer
product delivery at scale.
In addition to her corporate
leadership, Rohitha is the founder of PathwayAI, an AI-driven platform
supporting first-generation students in navigating college pathways. She
is an active mentor and community advocate through organizations such
as Silicon Andhra University and her local Scouts chapter, where she
champions access to technology and leadership pathways.
